The Valley’s Jesse Lally won’t stop ex-wife Michelle Saniei from pursuing a relationship with Dr. Dre.
“We are now officially divorced. She can do whatever she wants,” Jesse, 46, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 8. “As long as she remembers to keep our daughter safe and happy because the fallout from the Aaron [Nosler] breakup when they had moved in together was pretty chaotic for my daughter.”
Long before being photographed with Dre (real name Andre Romell Young), Michelle — who shares 6-year-old daughter Isabella with Jesse — dated Aaron, 39. They broke up in July 2025 after one year of dating.
“I’ll just keep reminding her: ‘Michelle, take your time with this one,’” Jesse explained to Us. “Be smart about our daughter and how she’s affected by meeting new people.”
From what Jesse’s been told, Michelle, 37, has yet to introduce the rapper and record producer to her only child. Instead, they are taking things slow — and keeping things private.
“She can do whatever she wants, and I’m happy for her,” Jesse explained. “[She can do] whatever she decides to do. As long as she keeps Isabella in the forefront, because I do that as much as possible.”
Michelle and Dre, 61, first turned heads in April when they were photographed holding hands at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California.
After meeting through a mutual friend, the pair are trying to keep things low-key and out of the spotlight.

“We’re spending time together,” she told People in an interview published on June 16. “And we love being in each other’s company. For now, we’re just keeping everything super private. I’m just living my life.”
Jesse — who is currently dating Lacy Nicole — is the first to admit that he was surprised by the unlikely coupling. At the same time, he just wants his ex to be happy.
“First of all, I found out about it when everyone else did,” he told Us. “I thought it was AI like everyone else did.”
As for theories that Dre could be the next cast member for The Valley, Jesse isn’t so sure about that prediction.
“I did hear some podcasters ask if he could remix the song at the beginning of The Valley,” he joked. “I don’t know if that’ll ever happen.”
