Taylor Swift may have skipped Sunday’s Grammys, but that didn’t stop her celebrating music’s biggest night in style.
The “Life of a Showgirl” chart-topper made an appearance at an afterparty, as seen in a viral video shared on X by a fan account — and for her low-key evening out, she reached for a familiar-looking dress.
Little Lies co-founder Jade Robertson tells Page Six Style Swift wore the brand’s Sweet Jane dress in black crushed velvet to the bash; the superstar owns the same style in green, and memorably styled it with snake-adorned thigh-high boots for an NYC outing in January 2024.
“The ’70s have my heart and our styles at Little Lies are very much inspired by that decade. The Sweet Jane dress was originally released in both black and olive in our fall 2023 collection, ‘Sound City,’ which drew inspiration from the era of iconic ’70s artists making history in the recording studio,” Robertson tells us.
“This dress is in a stretch crushed velvet that has so much texture that it’s visually stunning, but is super comfortable. It was designed to be a feminine silhouette but also ultra wearable, which really works with Taylor’s aesthetic.”
In addition to owning the Sweet Jane dress in two different hues, Swift’s also been spotted in the label’s Rooms on Fire slip, a midi-length style with lace trim and a floral burnout design.
“Having Taylor Swift as not only a customer, but a repeat wearer of our brand, is something I’ll never not fangirl over!” Robertson says.
“The way Taylor champions small, independent brands that reflect her values and amplifies them to her global audience is a great example of using celebrity influence for good.”
While Swift might’ve missed the Grammys step-and-repeat this year, her looks at the musical awards show never fail to make headlines.
Last year, she wowed in a sparkling red Vivienne Westwood minidress accessorized with a slick of scarlet lipstick and over 60 carats of Lorraine Schwartz rubies — including a custom leg chain adorned with a “T” charm, which she designed in collaboration with the jeweler. (Fans were quick to interpret the piece as a playful wink to Swift’s now-fiancé, Travis Kelce.)
And in 2024, Swift took home Album of the Year for “Midnights” wearing a white Schiaparelli Haute Couture corset gown paired with black opera gloves and layers of Lorraine Schwartz necklaces, among them a watch choker set to — when else? — midnight.
Swift wasn’t nominated for any Grammys this year since her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” was released after the 2026 ceremony’s eligibility period (Aug. 31, 2024, through Aug. 30, 2025); it’ll be eligible for the 2027 awards.
The “Fate of Ophelia” songstress currently has 14 Grammys to her name; she’s also the first woman to ever be nominated for Album of the Year seven times, and the first artist to win the award four times.
