The 2026 Olympic Winter Games are officially in full swing — with Team USA already striking gold.
The Opening Ceremony lit up Milan on Feb. 6 with cameos from Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Vittoria Ceretti and more stars setting the scene for two weeks of competition.
The Games run through the Closing Ceremony on Feb. 22 — but the action isn’t confined to the slopes.
From Milan’s buzziest tables to Cortina’s see-and-be-seen hideaways, here’s where the stars may be dining between medal moments.
Ristorante Da Giacomo
Ristorante Da Giacomo in Milan is as famous for its star-studded clientele as it is for its classic Italian seafood dishes.
Celebrities spotted at the elegant trattoria include Rihanna, Michael Jordan, Matthew McConaughey and Morgan Freeman.
Kim Kardashian filmed an episode of “The Kardashians” at the buzzy joint in 2022, where she infamously asked the server what tortellini was.

Casa Cipriani’s Milan outpost is an ideal hideaway for A-listers hoping to stay under the radar.
In 2023, Leonardo DiCaprio had a clandestine meet-up at the private membership club with his then-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
A source told Page Six at the time that they arrived around midnight and left 10 minutes apart from each other about an hour later.
The on-site eatery, draped in marble and wood interiors, serves traditional options like baked tagliolini with ham, calf’s liver alla Veneziana and baby artichokes from the island of Torcello.
Their famed dessert, the vanilla meringue cake, is a no-miss sweet treat.
Ceresio 7 Pools & Restaurants
Ceresio 7 Pools & Restaurants, a rooftop spot overlooking downtown Milan, is famous for attracting the Fashion Week “It” crowd, as it is owned and operated by DSquared2’s Dean and Dan Caten.
Joe Jonas has raved about their Aperol Spritzes, while Jennifer Lopez and Michael Bublè are reportedly regulars.
The space features two sleek swimming pools and offers Chef Elio Sironi’s signature tapas creations, like crispy corn tacos with tuna, celeriac and apple salad or toasted brioche bread filled with lobster meat.
Small bites include Bruschetta “beef tartare” with parmesan, and focaccia with pata negra and tomato.
As for entrées, patrons can delight in seared roe deer, Alpine dumplings, braised veal cheek and polenta.
Pizzeria Gino Sorbillo
Pizzeria Gino Sorbillo in Milan is so divine, it was once blessed by Pope Francis.
The restaurant, which also has locations in Naples and New York City, is known for its traditional Neapolitan pizzas, like their Margherita pie, as well as their pizze fritte, a fried pizza with meat fillings.
Honorable mentions go to their stuffed zucchini flowers and Tiramisù by Zia Esterina.
The pizza joint is one of Kendall Jenner’s favorite places to eat in Milan.
“The menu at Pizzeria Gino Sorbillo is only in Italian, so just ask the waiter for recommendations,” Jenner shared on her app in 2020.
“No matter what you get, it will be amazing!” she said, adding, “There’s usually a line but it’s so worth it.”
Grand Hotel Miramonti
If you want to live that Dolce Vida lifestyle, go to the Grand Hotel Miramonti in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The property has hosted Old Hollywood icons like Ingrid Bergman, Clark Gable, Peter Sellers, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, Marcello Mastroianni and Alberto Sordi.
The hotel also served as one of the filming locations for the 1981 James Bond film, “For Your Eyes Only.”
The luxe Alpine lodge has several dining locations, including the Chalet Miramonti, which serves Trentino cuisine.
Ristorante Cracco
Ristorante Cracco is a one-Michelin-starred culinary destination in Milan’s landmark shopping arcade, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
Helmed by chef Carlo Cracco, a tasting menu or à la carte menu offers contemporary Italian gastronomy like open ravioli and vitello alla Milanese.
This past weekend, George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, were spotted at the revered restaurant for the grand opening of Omega’s home base for the Winter Olympics. Marisa Tomei, singer Park Bo-gum and retired Olympian Allyson Felix were also in attendance.
