A woman in Georgetown, Texas, was arrested following an alleged sexual assault incident that involved a juvenile patient she was working with.
Officers with the Round Rock Police Department said that Infinite Spectrum Learning and Behavior, LLC employee Erin Roush was arrested on Wednesday, February 4, and was charged with aggravated sexual assault, according to a statement issued by the department via X.
The alleged incident took place at a home in Round Rock. The juvenile’s mother reported what allegedly happened to police on January 30, and an investigation was launched shortly after.
Roush, 29, was transferred to Williamson County Jail following her arrest, according to online records viewed by Us Weekly. She has been given a bond of $150,000 and is still in custody as of time of publication.
It is not currently clear if Roush has entered a plea or retained legal representation following her arrest.
The Round Rock Police Department did not immediately respond to Us’ request for comment regarding the incident.
Round Rock police said that detectives are still investigating the case, according to the social media post. Additionally, they are working to determine whether there may be additional victims.
Police also shared Roush’s mug shot, which showed her pouting as she looked directly at the camera.
No other details have been shared about the alleged assault, including the age of the victim or their name. “Due to the age of the victim and the nature of the case, no additional details are being released at this time,” police said in the social media post.

While working at Infinite Spectrum Learning and Behavior, LLC, Roush served as a registered behavior technician, according to KXAN. Her bio on the company’s website stated that she had more than three years of experience working with children with autism, attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia and other disabilities.
Aggravated sexual assault is a first-degree felony in the state of Texas. Those found guilty of the charge in Texas can be sentenced to serve five to 99 years or life in prison. Defendants may not be eligible for probation if their victim was under 14 years old, while also they might not receive probation if their sentence is longer than 10 years of imprisonment.
Additionally, those found guilty of the charge will have to register as a sex offender.
When determining a sentence, the judge will have to consider the victim’s age and aggravating factors.
In Texas, sexual assault is defined “as an intentional and non-consensual act of sexual contact or penetration, under the Texas Penal Code Section 22.011,” according to Versus Texas. “This criminal offense encompasses a range of behaviors where one person forces or coerces another to engage in a sexual act without their consent.”
Meanwhile, aggravated sexual assault is defined as “sexual assault with an aggravating factor such as age, the threat of injury, actual injury or disability.”
