David Corenswet sprung into action to defend his co-star Milly Alcock on the red carpet.
The 32-year-old American actor best known for playing Superman confronted a photographer who had touched the back of the 26-year-old Australian actress at the Supergirl premiere in New York City on Monday night.
Corenswet and Alcock were joined by castmates Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult on the red carpet when a photographer reached out to touch the back of the leading lady.
The Superman actor reacted very quickly as he seemingly began saying something to the photographer before extending his hand seemingly signaling for him to back off.
Corenswet then walked toward the photographer as they exchanged a few words.
The foursome then moved in front of the backdrop to take a group photo together.

Daily Mail has reached out to Corenswet’s representatives for comment and have yet to hear back.
The moment captured on the YouTube livestream of the red carpet has since gone viral with many praising Corenswet for his actions.
In the film, which premieres in theaters on Friday, June 26, Alcock stars as the Kryptonian, superpowered heroine.
Corenswet reprises his role from the 2025 Superman film, but will obviously be taking a step back to let his co-star shine.
It remains uncertain if Brosnahan will be appearing as Lois Lane and Hoult will be appearing as supervillain Lex Luthor in the film.
The logline reads as follows: ‘When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Supergirl reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion for an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.’
Jason Momoa also stars in the film as he will portray an alien mercenary and bounty hunter from the utopian plant Czarnia named Lobo. He famously portrayed Aquaman previously in the DC Cinematic Universe.
The cast also includes Eve Ridley, Emily Beecham, Mattias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz and many more.
