Taylor Swift was a star attraction at the California wedding of her good friend Este Haim, but it was her sparkly dress that had fans really talking.
They were convinced the gold sequin gown the 36-year-old singer wore to the New Year’s Eve nuptials was a salute to the glittering bronze number she wore during her Eras Tour Evermore set, per Page Six.
For Haim’s big day in Ojai, Swift accessorized her gilded attire with a tan wrap that loosely draped over her arms and matching handbag.
Her hair was swept up in an elegant ‘do while glam earrings completed the look.
Swift – who recently hit back at criticism over her raunchy new album The Life of a Showgirl – was seen arm-in-arm with fellow wedding guest Steve Nicks, who wore her signature black.
Photos from the event has since gone viral and Swifties are noticing the similarities between the two looks.

Many fans loved the Evermore vibes – Evermore was Swift’s surprise ninth album and sister record to Folklore – with one writing on X, ‘This look is giving evermoreeeee,’ alongside two side-by-side snaps for comparison.
‘Welcome back evermore bronze dress!!’ a second exclaimed.
‘If you squint a bit, it looks like the evermore dress, she said justice for evermore,’ a third noted.
Not everyone was as enthusiastic with some claiming Swift’s glittering gown upstaged the bride, as evidenced by the discussion on the Swiftly Neutral subreddit.
‘The color & the metallic nature REALLY surprise me. For being a wedding guest… it seems quite loud to me,’ one user commented, inviting others to share their thoughts.
‘Very out of place amongst the other guests who are all in muted neutrals,’ one fan agreed. ‘The dress and its cut aren’t appropriate for a wedding either.’
Another chimed in, ‘She’s wearing a GOLD SEQUIN dress to someone’s wedding?? Why does she always wear sequins to weddings? Let the BRIDE shine.’
Swift wore the sparkly bronze dress for her Evermore set during her hugely successful Eras Tour, which grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales.
