It’s no secret that Taylor Swift, patron saint of red lipstick, swears by Pat McGrath’s popular Elson shade — and now, fans can match their manicures to their mouths.
As part of the makeup artist-turned-mogul’s new Pat McGrath Labs x Candy Crush collaboration, which hit Nordstrom’s website this week, the bestselling blue-red hue’s been made into an equally alluring nail polish.
“Elson has always been the ultimate statement red — timeless, bold and effortlessly glamorous. Bringing it to nails felt like the perfect way to extend that power beyond the lips,” McGrath tells Page Six Style exclusively.
“And what could be more fabulous than seeing your Elson-painted nails tapping away as you play Candy Crush? It’s beauty, play and luxury — all at your fingertips!”
Along with the luxe Elson lacquer, a glittering Gold 001 nail polish inspired by McGrath’s first-ever product is also included in the collab.
And for those in need of a red lipstick restock, fret not: McGrath’s MatteTrance Lipstick in Elson also got a scarlet-striped Candy Crush makeover as part of the partnership, along with the brand’s popular nude-pink Divine Rose hue.
Rounding out the capsule are a duo of shiny, sugar-sweet Lust: Gloss shades: Astral Flash Dance, a pearlescent orchid, and Bronze Venus, a pink-toned bronze.
Famed for her theatrical runway beauty looks for fashion houses like Dior, Alexander McQueen and Valentino (and for traveling with well over 80 suitcases of products), McGrath’s been called “the most influential makeup artist in the world” by Vogue.
In addition to running her namesake cosmetics company, she’s also worked with A-list celebrities like Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian — and Swift, with whom she’s collaborated on red carpet makeup moments and music videos alike.
McGrath’s previously launched collaborations with Supreme, “Star Wars,” New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and many more, but we think this might be her sweetest team-up to date.
