Even Taylor Swift’s outfit totals are Easter eggs.
On Tuesday night, the pop superstar and fiancé Travis Kelce braved the slushy, post-snowstorm streets of NYC for a date at Chez Margaux, with Swift layering on five figures’ worth of Louis Vuitton for the outing.
The “Opalite” chart-topper kept warm in the luxury label’s sold-out Shearling Collar Wrap Coat, which retailed for $6,150 and features a self-tie belt and a contrasting monogram lining.
She carried her $4,200 Express PM Bag, similarly trimmed with the brand’s distinctive monogram pattern, and finished her monochromatic look with high-heeled Christian Louboutin Loo Botta Boots ($1,995) and a slick of her signature scarlet lipstick.
The total cost of Swift’s designer ensemble? About $13,000 — fitting, considering her famous lucky number.
Louis Vuitton’s become a constant in the songstress’ closet for date nights and game days alike over the past several years; “She lives in an LV ‘fit,” one fan commented on Instagram.
In December, the 14-time Grammy winner enjoyed a night out with pal Este Haim in Manhattan, clad in the French fashion house’s Double Face Duffle Coat ($6,400) and Midtown High Boot ($2,370).
One month prior, she selected another all-black LV look for an outing with her fiancé, pairing a chain-trimmed Vuitton sweater with the Double Face Mini Wrap Skirt ($2,750), Legacy Boot ($1,940) and Coussin PM Bag ($4,300).
And at a Jan. 2025 Chiefs game, Swift memorably leaned into logomania in a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton look (complete with pieces from the brand’s fine jewelry collection!) worth over $35,000.
With the house’s fall 2026 womenswear show coming up in just a couple weeks in Paris, is a front-row cameo from pop culture’s favorite couple too much to hope for?
