Taylor Swift never lets an opportunity to make a statement pass her by, especially not at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The pop star, 35, stole the show at the Sunday, February 2, awards show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Swift stunned in a Vivienne Westwood red sparkling minidress with a cowl neck, rocking matching red lip stick and styling her hair in loose waves. She also wore 60 carats of Lorraine Schwartz natural rubies including ruby waterfall earrings, a ruby ring and a natural spinel ring — and a “T” charm from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry, a collaboration brought together by Swift, her stylist, Joseph Cassell, and Schwartz, hung from her dress.
Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was not by her side at the Grammys since he is preparing for Super Bowl LIX. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, and his teammates will compete against the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, with Swift expected to be in attendance to cheer on Kelce.
Swift is nominated for six Grammys at the 2025 ceremony, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Tortured Poets Department, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” with Post Malone and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song with Gracie Abrams, “Us.”
Last year, Swift had quite the memorable experience at the 2024 Grammy Awards. After winning Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights, she used her acceptance speech to announce her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which came as a complete surprise to fans.
“[The way I can celebrate] is by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19th,” she said at the time. “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department, and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage.”
Later in the broadcast, Swift made history when she earned her fourth Album of the Year award for Midnights, making her the first artist to ever win the honor four times. (She previously received the accolade for Fearless in 2010, 1989 in 2016 and Folklore in 2021.)
“I would love to tell you this is the best moment of my life, but I feel this happy when I write a song, or crack the code to a song I love, or when I’m shot-listing a music video or I’m practicing with my band or rehearsing with my dancers or getting ready to fly to Tokyo to perform. … For me, the reward is the work.”
Prior to the 2025 ceremony, Swift had 14 total Grammy wins throughout her career. In addition to her four Album of the Year trophies, she also received accolades for Best Country Album for Fearless and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse” in 2010, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Mean” in 2012, Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games in 2013, Best Music Video for “Bad Blood” and Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989 in 2016, Best Music Video for All Too Well: The Short Film in 2023 and Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights in 2024.
