Taylor Swift dropped her music video for “Opalite” Friday, her second single off her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
In the ’70s-themed visual — which follows the love story between Swift and co-star Domhnall Gleeson — the once-lonely pop superstar fills the void of a partner with a large rock.
The actor, meanwhile, does the same with a small cactus plant.
By the end of the video, the two get together, and a message flashes across the screen: “Rock and Cactus married in a small, intimate ceremony after meeting through Opalite.”
Notably, Swift is planning her wedding to her NFL star fiancé, Travis Kelce, who proposed in August 2025.
Shortly after their engagement made headlines, a source exclusively told Page Six that the couple was planning a “private” ceremony with family and close friends, noting, “It will be more casual than people think.”
In addition to Gleeson, the “Opalite” visual features cameos by Graham Norton, Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lewis Capaldi.
As fans may recall, Gleeson cheekily asked to appear in a Swift music video during the group’s appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” in October 2025.
That same month, Swift revealed that “Opalite” is Kelce’s favorite song off “The Life of a Showgirl.”
“He loves that one,” the singer-songwriter gushed during an appearance on “Capital Breakfast.”
Swift also delved deeper into the track’s meaning, explaining that the football player’s birthstone is an opal, which can be “manmade,” just like happiness.
“So that’s kind of what the song is about,” she shared. “The juxtaposition of those two.”
Swifties are also convinced the musician took a savage diss at Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole on “Opalite,” specifically with the lyrics, “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
The lyrics appear to imply that Nicole was with Kelce for clout. The pair, who dated on and off for five years from 2017 to 2022, made several red carpet appearances together in the past.
After the song came out, a video resurfaced showing Kelce once complaining to Nicole about being on her phone too much.
“Opalite” marks the second music video off “The Life of a Showgirl.”
Swift, 36, released the visual for her first single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” in October 2025. The video is full of Easter eggs referencing her romance with Kelce, her Eras Tour and more things that her eagle-eyed fans — of course — picked up on.
