Her tears ricochet.
Taylor Swift was “in shambles” when her backup singer Jeslyn Gorman was diagnosed with breast cancer during the Eras Tour.
The pop star said on the third episode on the “End of an Era” docuseries, released Friday, that she will “never forget” being told about her employee’s health news.
“It’s the not knowing,” Swift, 36, said of the fear she experienced at the time, calling the “blow … unfathomable.”
Gorman reflected on the moment as well, saying, “When I let Taylor know, she came storming in with hugs and crying and just, ‘I’m so sorry.’ Her mom, [Andrea Swift], said, ‘Take care of you, and we’ll be here when ready.”
For six months, Gorman “had to take off and go through chemo, surgery” and battled “skin issues.”
She recalled, “I usually have all this curly hair. I lost 75 percent of my hair. I felt and looked completely different.”
When Gorman asked her doctor “how quickly” she could return to Taylor’s record-breaking tour, she was told she could make a comeback “the night” she finished radiation — but she needed to “get back into shape.”
In a confessional, another backup dancer confirmed, “She literally finished radiation and got on a plane.”
Taylor, for her part, added, “I cannot believe she was back in a few months. The will to come back and do the hardest show ever — none of us could believe it. I still can’t.”
She gushed over her “professional family” sticking together as they “go through phases of life … ups and downs and heartbreaks.”
The songwriter noted, “There are people I just got to know in this phase of my life. Jeslyn is one of the most talented, resilient people I’ve ever been around.”
One of Gorman’s return shows was documented in the episode, with the performer wearing ponytail extensions — and praising Swift backstage.
“You like to shed light on people and make them feel bigger than they think they are,” she gushed during a backstage huddle. “It’s never a ‘me,’ it’s always a ‘we.’”
Elsewhere in the episode, Taylor gave a glimpse into her insane workout routine, explained the addition of her second “Reputation” catsuit and more.
The fourth installment of the series was Travis Kelce-heavy, with Taylor calling her now-fiancé her “right fit.”
Andrea, 67, opened up about being a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs player, 36, from the start and urging her daughter to date him.
“You called me up with this tone of, ‘Hey, so I know you’re not gonna react well to this. But there’s a guy,’” Taylor recalled. “You said something to the effect of, ‘You’ve got to start doing something different.’”
Four episodes of “End of an Era” are available to stream on Disney+, with the final two premiering Dec. 23.
