Taylor Lautner jokingly suggested his “Twilight” character, Jacob Black, should’ve ended up with Kristen Stewart’s character, Bella Swan.
The actor took to TikTok Saturday to participate in the viral trend, which shows people making bashful claims before accidentally flipping the cameras on themselves.
Lautner’s video saw the 2011 film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1” playing on a flat-screen TV, showing the scene where Swan marries her vampire lover, Edward Cullen.
The “Shark Boy and Lava Girl” star wrote over the clip, “Honestly screw Edward. Bella should have ended up with Jacob.”
He then jokingly flipped the camera on his face, acting shocked and afraid with the text “oh no no no” written on the screen.
Lautner, 32, left fans overjoyed, as one person commented, “HE WON THIS TREND.”
“This made my year,” another added.
“TAYLOR,” a third person chimed in, as the “Abduction” star jokingly responded, “IT WAS A MISTAKE.”
“Not me liking the video before realizing who posted it,” a fourth wrote.
Lautner starred as Black in the “Twilight” saga from 2008 to 2012.
The series showed Black — a werewolf — fighting for Swan’s heart despite her utter devotion to Cullen, portrayed by Robert Pattinson.
The “Tracers” star has previously opened up about filming the fantasy films and being pitted against Pattinson, who was his onscreen rival.
Recalling press events during an episode of “Call Her Daddy” in December 2023, Lautner said, “I think it was awkward at times for the two of us to be standing together on a balcony and having 10,000 girls booing Rob but then cheering for me but then this half, you know, booing me and cheering [for Rob], but then us having to have some sort of friendship. It was difficult.”
Lautner explained he never had a close relationship with the “Batman” star, 38, describing the two of them as “very, very different people.”
“We never really connected on a deep level just because we’re different humans,” he shared, explaining Pattinson is “fantastic” and “the sweetest person ever.”
