Tara Reid is looking happy and healthy again — years after fans expressed their concerns over her alarming weight loss.
In new photos obtained by Page Six, the “American Pie” actress could be seen smiling for cameras while attending the red carpet premiere of “Pabrik Gula” in Los Angeles Wednesday night.
Reid, 49, stunned in a black-and-white floor-length skirt which she paired with a black leather jacket. She styled her blond tresses in loose curls with a middle part, opting for light makeup.
The “Sharknado” star’s appearance came years after she faced criticism over how much weight she had lost at the time.
In October 2021, Reid slammed critics who called her out for being “too skinny” after she posted a photo of herself in a bikini.
“To all who made their great comments exposing their hate for my artsy picture I posted yesterday, it was the angle,” she wrote on Instagram in the since-deleted post.
“Here is another picture from yesterday to show you I am not too skinny, I have a high metabolism. Anyone with a high metabolism understands it’s impossible to gain weight,” she argued, adding, “All I do is eat.”
The following month, Reid exclusively told Page Six that she was “doing great” despite the comments she continuously received about her weight.
“I’ve always been thin,” she told us in November 2021. “So these stories are kind of crazy because it’s like there’s nothing that has changed for forever.”
Two years later, Reid shut down claims that she had an eating disorder, telling the Los Angeles Inquisitor that she has “no anorexia” and never has at any point.
“And I definitely don’t have any bulimia. I’m terrified of throwing up, so that’s not gonna happen. And I love food too much,” she added.
“So anyone that says I’m anorexic or bulimic, they’re wrong. So stop it. Leave me alone. Pick on me again on something else, but not on those two things. It’s not right.”
