Tamra Judge reportedly feels “unstable” over her friend Teddi Mellencamp’s health struggles after quitting “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
The outgoing Bravolebrity is having trouble processing her “Two Ts in a Pod” co-host’s battle with cancer, a source told the US Sun Tuesday.
“Tamra is in a more volatile state right now because of Teddi’s condition; that’s no secret. Her meltdown was absolutely intensified because of how unstable she is because of Teddi right now, at least that’s what people around her think,” the insider said.
“Some of the cast members have a lot of compassion for her and understand her best friend is going through something so unbelievably excruciating which in turn has been a heavy, heavy weight for Tamra.”
However, amid reports that Judge quit the reality show following a heated argument with Gretchen Rossi and Shannon Beador during a cast trip to New Orleans, the source claimed not everyone is as sympathetic.
“Some of her castmates are accusing her of using Teddi’s health crisis to put a Band-Aid on her bad behavior and to dismiss certain comments she’s made that led to their tense talk, which then led to Tamra storming off the show,” the insider shared.
“Her overreaction, according to her, is a mix of also having a difficult time processing what is going on with Teddi. Tamra is very sensitive right now.”
Late Sunday night, Judge took to her Instagram Stories to announce she was quitting “RHOC” for the second time since joining the cast in 2007.
“It was a long run! When life gives you real problems this reality s–t doesn’t make sense. Peace out ✌️ Im [sic] out,” she wrote, later confirming to a fan that she was done with the show.
Andy Cohen later hinted that the “Traitors” alum she had left due to Mellencamp’s multiple surgeries to remove cancerous tumors.
“I guess the only thing that is at the top of my mind is that one of her best friends — if not her best friend — is going through an incredibly intense health crisis. So maybe keep that in mind,” he told his “Radio Andy” listeners.
Judge first joined the Bravo franchise during Season 3 before quitting in 2020 after Season 14. She later insinuated that she had been fired.
The real estate agent then returned for Season 17 in 2023.
Judge’s struggles come a month after Mellencamp revealed her skin cancer had metastasized to her brain and lungs.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 43, underwent emergency brain surgery to have some tumors removed.
Then, last week, she announced that her latest scans showed “3 more tumors in [her] brain and 2 tumors on [her] lungs.“
Due to her health battle, the professional equestrienne had to take a break from their podcast.
