Sydney Sweeney fired back at trolls who made fun of her body online by posting buff images from her grueling workout regimen.
The 27-year-old actress became a star on the TV shows Euphoria and The White Lotus and is now a reigning nationwide sex symbol.
However some online commenters have been sharply criticizing her looks, in scathing remarks she posted to her Instagram in a video montage.
‘Too pale and she needs to lose a few pounds around the middle,’ read one jibe, as others called her ‘frumpy,’ an ‘average chunky Yankee girl’ and a ‘butterface.’
After the comments flicked across the screen, Sydney herself could be seen looking toned and muscular in photos and videos from her gym routine.
She has bulked up for an upcoming biopic of professional boxer Christy Martin, who was a pioneering force for women in the sport.

Sydney began her video with a string of comment screen-grabs attacking her looks, calling her ‘painfully average looking’ and ‘a 5 at best.’
‘She’s really not very attractive. Not sure why she’s so popular. I had a better body at 37 before I got pregnant with my youngest,’ one claimed.
‘She is extraordinarily average, which is why she always makes sure her chest is the first thing to enter any room,’ remarked another.
Others compared her to Miss Piggy or ‘a middle aged council flat mum of four,’ while still another said she might be an ‘Ozempic candidate.’
In a retort to her critics, Sydney could then be seen in a string of photos and videos showing her achieving her Christy Martin boxer’s body.
The images showed her practicing boxing, both in a ring and with a punching bag, as well as workout out with various machines.
A few of the snaps and clips were of Sydney flexing her impressively muscular arms, demonstrating the progress she made on her physical transformation.
Her latest post comes after she slammed the ‘fake’ Hollywood grandstanding about ‘women empowering other women’ in Vanity Fair.

‘It’s very disheartening to see women tear other women down, especially when women who are successful in other avenues of their industry see younger talent working really hard – hoping to achieve whatever dreams that they may have – and then trying to bash and discredit any work that they’ve done,’ said Sydney.
‘This entire industry, all people say is “Women empowering other women.” None of it’s happening. All of it is fake and a front for all the other s*** that they say behind everyone’s back,’ said the Madame Web star.
‘I mean, there’s so many studies and different opinions on the reasoning behind it. I’ve read that our entire lives, we were raised – and it’s a generational problem – to believe only one woman can be at the top,’ she theorized.
‘There’s one woman who can get the man. There’s one woman who can be, I don’t know, anything,’ the Immaculate actress elaborated.
‘So then all the others feel like they have to fight each other or take that one woman down instead of being like, Let’s all lift each other up. I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m just trying my best over here. Why am I getting attacked?’
