Sunny Deol is back on the big screen with his new movie Jaat, which releases this week. The actor was last seen in Gadar 2, which was a blockbuster at the box office. As his previous film was a big hit, there were high hopes for this one too. The 2025 film was directed by Gopichand Malineni and it also features Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Actress Regina Cassandra plays a lady villain and has received a lot of praise for her performance.
On its first day, Jaat had a decent start at the box office, earning Rs 9.5 crore. On the second day, the film saw a drop and collected Rs 7 crore, but the third day brought better news with Rs 9.75 crore coming in. However, on the fourth day, the movie’s earnings slowed down again. According to early estimates, the Sunny Deol starrer has made around Rs 3.72 crore. With this, the total collection of the action drama so far is around Rs 29.97 crore. It’s important to note that the movie was made with a big budget of Rs 100 crore, so it still needs to earn a lot more to be a hit.
On the other hand, the South film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar, is doing really well at the box office. In just four days, it has earned a strong Rs 77.66 crore across all languages. The film collected about Rs 64 crore in its first three days and added another Rs 13.66 crore on its fourth day.
It would be interesting to see how much both movies collected on their first Monday.
