The new series House of Stassi revealed Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark once brought up the idea of a divorce.
In one episode of the Hulu series, which is streaming now, Beau’s sister joked about how she was planning to move in with Stassi’s sister. Stassi, 38, playfully poked fun at the idea, saying, “You guys are now stuck in this family that you have to figure it out [if you start to have any issues]. Unless Beau and I were to get a divorce.”
Beau, 46, overheard Stassi talking about a breakup, but he didn’t hear the full context. He assumed Stassi was bringing divorce up in a more serious way.
“I just heard divorce. Are you joking?” he told Stassi before elaborating in a confessional. “Stassi and I were both children of divorce and we have very strong feelings of not going down the same route as our parents. I don’t like that. I don’t want to get divorced, ever.”
After watching Stassi and Beau argue on numerous occasions throughout the season, Katie Maloney, Kristina Kelly and Taylor Strecker had a private conversation where they voiced their concerns. While discussing whether they needed to pull Stassi and Beau aside to check on their marriage, Taylor mentioned a moment that was caught on film.
A clip was then shown from the show’s test shoot where Stassi and Beau’s loved ones recalled witnessing a tumultuous argument between them.
“What is the point that it got to? Was it just me saying I am going to divorce him?” Stassi asked the group about why they were concerned about her relationship.
Taylor, meanwhile, offered more details about the “big fight” that took place in Italy “two years ago.” Kristina jumped in with her own insight, saying, “Stassi told me it was huge and that [the] D-word was thrown out.”
According to Taylor, Stassi was the one to mention divorce. “It was her, not him,” she added. “He crossed a line for her and she was furious.”
Stassi and Beau are no strangers to airing out their issues on screen. The couple filmed several seasons of Vanderpump Rules together before Stassi was fired in 2020, later moving to Vanderpump Villa, where they argued about Beau’s bond with his sister.
“It was a blip on the radar. That’s how I saw it,” Taylor told Stassi in an April 2025 episode of the “Taste of Taylor” podcast about an onscreen argument between her and Beau, to which the former Vanderpump Rules star replied, “It doesn’t feel like a blip when it’s on national TV. And when you guys forced me to go to therapy afterward.”
House of Stassi checked in with the couple months later as they were still trying to figure out their issues. Beau and Stassi both clarified on the show, however, that they have no plans to part ways.
House of Stassi is streaming now on Hulu.
