This $8 lipstick deserved its own award last night.
At the 2026 Oscars, stars took to the red carpet in a sartorial feast of designer duds. Yet several celebrities — including Heidi Klum, Jane Fonda, Ariana Greenblatt and Kelly Ripa — all wore surprisingly budget-friendly lipstick in the same exact shade: L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche in Fairest Nude.
While we love a red or pink lip, the return of the neutral beige pink — as the celeb-loved hue is described — is giving iconic Bridgette Bardot vibes for spring.
All of the star’s makeup artists shared that they wanted the focus to be on their clients’ healthy, luminous skin.
“The Last of Us” star Isabela Merced also wore the shade — topped with the brand’s Plump Ambition Hyaluron Lip Oil in Latte Glace.
Klum’s MUA, Linda Hay, said in a press release, “The focus was on Heidi’s luminous, glowing skin, softly defined eyes and wispy lashes.”
Greenblat’s MUA, Jen Tioseco, echoed the sentiment, saying, “We wanted the makeup to feel radiant and effortless.”
“The focus was luminous skin, softly defined eyes and a glossy nude lip for a polished, modern red carpet glam,” she added.
The key to making the lip color work for so many stars? Bespoke lip liner picks, including Au Natural and Worth It (plus the deeper-hued versions, Worth It Medium and Intense). Luckily, it’s just $7 today — less than an NYC latte.
Kendall Jenner also opted for the original nude-pink Worth It, albeit in lipstick form, for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Her makeup artist, Mary Phillips, said she created a “60’s sexy vibe with glowing skin and a bold, elongated cat eye,” plus lips that were “subtly contoured to give that plush, pouty finish.”
Both lip products have thousands of five-star reviews, so you know they impress well beyond celeb makeup artists.
Why not welcome spring with this versatile bombshell shade? All the better to shop while the combo is on sale for just $15 combined!
