Spencer Pratt revealed he has made thousands of dollars in TikTok earnings after he and his wife, Heidi Montag, lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
“I made, like, $4,000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think [I made] maybe $20,000,” the “Hills: New Beginnings” alum told Variety in an interview published Saturday.
“So that’s phenomenal and life-changing. That’s the power of individual supporters, people just backing you and getting behind you.”
“And that’s the most powerful when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms, when just actual human beings just want to give,” the reality star continued. “It’s unbelievable and incredible.”
In addition to TikTok earnings, Pratt, 41, and Montag, 38, have benefited from a resurgence of the latter’s music career — especially Montag’s 2010 album, “Superficial,” which Pratt has encouraged fans to stream.
He told the outlet he’s plans to send out “Superficial” T-shirts to fans once he has access to his Pratt Daddy offices in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The “Celebrity Big Brother” alum shared he’s already received 5,000 orders and is open to a TV show about rebuilding their lives after the fire.
Additionally, Pratt and Montag have also received more than $100,000 in donations from fans.
The couple’s home was destroyed after the ongoing Palisades Fire scorched through their neighborhood on Jan. 7.
Afterward, a tearful Montag posted an emotional video about their devastating loss, saying, “I’m so sad our house is gone. I wish I could have gone back and got more.”
She continued, “I didn’t think it would be the last time we would be in our house. I’m so sad for everyone else going through the same thing.”
Days later, Pratt encouraged fans to stream his wife’s music in hopes of receiving royalties.
Support from fans and celebrities, including Emily Ratajkowski and Flavor Flav, helped Montag reach No. 1 on iTunes.
On Friday, Pratt defended himself from critics, who called him out for trying to receive funds from fans despite being a celebrity.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the TV personality expressed his frustration because people assume he is a “rich celebrity” while he has “no net worth.”
The couple have been married since 2008 and share two sons: Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 2.
