Grammy-winning musician songwriter Talay Riley, who worked with Britney Spears and Dua Lipa, was found stabbed to death in London. He was 35.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed in a statement that Riley — who was identified by his real name, Mark Orabiyi — was discovered by police Friday morning with stab wounds in the garden of a property in Silvertown.
Riley was pronounced dead at the scene’s despite the efforts by paramedics, the statement said.
A man in his 20s was also taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds, though his condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, according to the Met Police.
Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke confirmed three people were arrested on suspicion of murder. They include a 27-year-old man who was released on bail pending further enquiries and a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman who were both released with no further action.
Riley’s family said in a statement: “Mark was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He brought love, light, and joy to our family and to all who knew him.”
“We will always cherish his kindness, beautiful spirit, and remarkable talent. His presence touched many lives, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the statement added.
