Saif Ali Khan is still in Lilavati Hospital recovering from the injuries sustained after he got attacked by sharp knife in his home. An intruder reportedly stabbed Saif Ali Khan six times leaving him severely injured. Now, three days after the incident, his sister Soha Ali Khan has shared his health update. In a media interaction, Soha Ali Khan shared that Saif is ‘recovering well’.
Soha Ali Khan gives health update of Saif Ali Khan
Since January 16, all the family members of Saif Ali Khan are paying constant visits to the actor in hospital. It is now that Soha Ali Khan has resumed work and was spotted at an event. The actress was asked about Saif and she said, “We are happy that he is recovering well and we are very thankful and we feel very blessed and grateful that it wasn’t any worse. Thank you for all your wishes.”
Post the shocking incident, Mumbai Police started investigating the case. This morning, reports emerged that the intruder who attacked Saif Ali Khan has been nabbed from Thane. Reportedly, a man named Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad has been arrested and sent to five days of police custody. He is said to have entered Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s home with an intention of theft.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan is said to have recorded her statement in this case. As per reports, she reportedly informed the police that the intruder was aggressive. Allegedly, the intruder entered Saif and Kareena’s son Jeh Ali Khan’s room and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. The nanny of the kid raised an alarm and that is when Saif Ali Khan came running to the room. A scuffle took place and the intruder stabbed the actor.
Saif Ali Khan had to undergo surgery to remove a piece of knife stuck in his spine. Doctors revealed that the surgery was successful and the actor is doing well.
