Selena Gomez stunned the crowd at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards with help from her husband, Benny Blanco.
Gomez, 33, rocked a black gown complete with a white feather neckline while at the Sunday, January 11, ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. She styled her look with a chic bob and a dark lip, while Blanco, 37, donned a black suit.
Gomez is nominated for Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role as Mabel on Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building. The other nominees in her category are Kristen Bell (Nobody Wants This), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) and Jean Smart (Hacks).
This year marks Gomez’s fourth consecutive Golden Globe nomination for Only Murders, though she has never won. The comedy scored a total of four nods this year, including Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
Gomez and Blanco tied the knot in September 2025 after two years together. The ceremony was held in Santa Barbara, California, and featured tons of A-lists guests, including Taylor Swift as well as Gomez’s Only Murders costars Martin Short and Steve Martin.
“The wedding was pretty simple and not your typical ‘celebrity’ lavish wedding,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly of the event last year. “They both just wanted to dance and have fun, and you could feel so much love from them.”
The couple announced their engagement in December 2024 after going public with their romance one year prior.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” Gomez wrote in an Instagram comment in December 2023. “He [has] been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end. … He’s still better than anyone I’ve been with. Facts.”
Last year, Blanco accompanied Gomez to the Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated for both the film and TV roles. In addition to her work in Only Murders, Gomez scored a Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture nod for her turn in Emilia Peréz. (She lost to costar Zoe Saldaña.)
After the January 2025 awards show, Blanco gushed over his then-fiancée via social media, sharing a video of Gomez posing in her hotel room.
“I got to take home the best award of the night,” he captioned the footage.
While Gomez left the ceremony empty-handed that evening, she and Blanco got a shout-out from host Nikki Glaser at the top of the show.
“Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish,” Glaser, 41, quipped in her monologue. “Man, lucky guy.”
The duo took the joke in stride, with cameras capturing them giggling at the comedian’s playful jab.
