Taylor Swift needed her getaway car Saturday night.
The pop star was spotted leaving a Paul McCartney concert at Hollywood’s Fonda Theater over the weekend, narrowly avoiding a run-in with ex John Mayer.
In the pictures, obtained by Page Six on Monday, the “Bad Blood” singer, 36, wore a black dress and choker while chatting with Olivia Rodrigo.
She hugged more pals before departing the venue.
Mayer, for his part, was photographed leaving through a different exit post-show.
The “Your Body Is a Wonderland” crooner, notably, dated Swift between late 2009 and early 2010.
Swift’s October 2010 hit, “Dear John,” is widely believed to be about Mayer, although she has never confirmed the rumors.
The lyrics call out a mystery man for dating her when she was “too young” at 19 and playing “dark, twisted games.”
Two years later, Mayer blasted the “humiliat[ing]” release as “cheap songwriting” in a scathing Rolling Stone interview, calling the diss track a “lousy thing to do” to him.
“I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’” he told the magazine in 2012. “That’s bulls–t.”
Swift hit back during a Glamour sitdown, insisting Mayer was being “presumptuous” since she “never disclose[s] who [her] songs are about.”
She requested the interviewer not share Mayer’s comments with her, noting, “I know it wasn’t good, so I don’t want to know. I put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can’t handle.”
Mayer’s “Paper Doll” came out in 2013, with fans believing the line about a partner being “22 girls in one” is a shady reference to Swift’s song “22.”
He “100 percent” denied this in a 2019 Instagram Live, insisting, “The person they thought it was about brought a certain amount of superficial pop culture back-and-forth about it. But the song was not about that person.”
He did, however, admit to the single being “a little bitchy” while chatting with audience members during an April 2023 concert.
“I wonder if people don’t like it because it sounds a little pissed off,” he said at the time. “I think it was more hurt.”
Since their short-lived romance, Mayer has been linked to singer Katy Perry and, most recently, influencer Kat Stickler.
Swift, for her part, is engaged to Travis Kelce, with Page Six confirming the couple will walk down the aisle in Rhode Island this summer.
