Sean “Diddy” Combs looked much older at an appearance in court Friday, per several eyewitnesses.
The Post reporter Kyle Schnitzer, who was inside the Manhattan federal courtroom, remarked that the embattled rapper looked bloated and old. He added that Combs had a puffy figure and was sporting gray hair and a gray chinstrap beard.
CBS New York reporter Alice Gainer reaffirmed those comments via X on Friday, writing, “Combs walked into courtroom sporting grey hair and a grey beard.”
During Friday’s hearing, Combs pleaded not guilty to two superseding indictments in his ongoing federal case for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.
The embattled rapper’s attorneys and the federal government also argued in front of the judge on matters regarding the jury selection and discovery items, such as a tape CNN had in their possession of Combs being violent toward his ex Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, which the network may have destroyed.
Law&Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner also observed after Friday’s hearing that Combs — who celebrated his 55th birthday behind bars in November 2024 — looked like “Santa Claus” and noted that many of the reporters were caught off guard by the changed look.
Millner’s latest comments come nearly three months after she first pointed out the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper looked “astonishingly thinner” and “appeared grayer a little bit” in December 2024.
Page Six reached out to Combs’ reps and attorneys for comment on the latest claims of their client is rapidly aging in prison but did not immediately hear back.
However, a source exclusively told us after Millner’s initial remarks that the “Last Night” rapper is “fit, healthy and fully focused on his defense.”
“He has been very active, remains in good spirits, and, as always, he was happy to see his children,” the insider adds. We were also told at the time he had been working out regularly.
Combs has been in federal custody since last September, when he was arrested following a months-long federal probe into claims he hosted “Freak-Off” parties, where illegal sexual activity allegedly occurred.
He was taken shortly after to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, which a former inmate has described as “an overcrowded, understaffed and neglected federal jail that is hell on Earth.”
Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo has even admitted that food is the “roughest part” of the imprisonment.
The “Coming Home” rapper’s typical meal in prison reportedly consists of cereal, fruit or pastries for breakfast, hamburgers, fish or beef tacos for lunch and chicken fajitas, pasta or roast beef for dinner.
Combs is expected to be in prison for at least a few more months, as he will have the chance to fight for freedom when his trial begins on May 5.
The Bad Boy Records founder, who is also facing several civil lawsuits for sexual assault claims, has pleaded not guilty and denied all wrongdoing in his federal case.
