In a career spanning over 35 years, Salman Khan has been part of several popular films. In 2015, Salman had collaborated with Kabir Khan on Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which found immense love and support from the viewers. The film also bagged a National Film Award for offering ‘Wholesome Entertainment’ at the 63rd National Film Awards. The buzz around Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 has been on for quite some time now. At the launch of RRR, Salman Khan had confirmed that the discussion for BB 2 is on.

According to Pinkvilla, a source told them, “Salman Khan has met V. Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days back. They have come up with an idea and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Moreover, there is a chance of possible collaboration between V. Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan, the trio is coming together. However, nothing has been finalized yet.”

The much-awaited meeting of Salman and Vijayendra Prasad happened in Mumbai earlier this week. For the unversed, V. Vijayendra Prasad is one of the most impactful and successful screenwriters of Indian Cinema. His popular works include Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali franchise (2015–2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and RRR (2022).

Salman Khan has reportedly been busy discussing multiple projects, and official announcements will be made soon.

Meanwhile, Salman’s recent film Sikandar hasn’t been as successful as his past films. According to data shared by Sikandar’s production house, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar earned Rs 5.38 crore in India and Rs 3 crore internationally on its sixth day of release. It has collected Rs 178.16 crore so far. The film is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark by the end of its first week.
