On Sunday, April 13, Sadie Robertson took to Instagram to share a pregnancy update with her fans.
According to the reality star, it was a “whirlwind” couple of days for her and her unborn child.
“Took this little video last night in the bathroom at the event I was speaking at,” Robertson, 27, began, explaining the video she shared showing off her burgeoning baby bump.
“I was so happy to be there, holding on to the message on my shirt, and thankful for the belly underneath,” Robertson continued, revealing that just before her speaking engagement she had fallen ill with food poisoning.
“Thursday night we got to Florida to enjoy some family time before I was supposed to speak Saturday morning at a conference in Destin. Friday afternoon I got hit with what we think was food poisoning and it was rough,” she explained.
“I ended up in the hospital having consistent contractions every 3 minutes for a couple of hours,” Robertson continued. “Thankfully, I got the best care in a hospital and they were able to confirm I was not in pre-term labor just the aftermath of the food poisoning.”
Robertson said she was forced to cancel her speaking engagement but powered through for a sit down Q&A session with the crowd who had come to see her.
Unfortunately, Robertson said she ended up back at the hospital on Sunday morning.
“I woke up back at the doctor with a sinus infection and bronchitis,” she continued, noting that her third “pregnancy has been wild, but I am just so thankful baby is kicking around in the womb unbothered by wild ride we’ve been on.”
The soon-to-be mom of three added that she made the decision to share what she has been dealing with over the last couple of days “because Instagram can’t just get all the good stuff – we gotta have a little reality up in here!”
“My body hurts, but I’m thankful for it,” she said. “God is good!”
Robertson and her husband of five years, Christian Huff, announced they are expecting their third baby in February. On April 1, she announced that she was halfway through her pregnancy.
The couple also share 3-year-old Honey James and 1-year-old Haven Belle.
As of Monday afternoon, Robertson hasn’t shared an update regarding her health.
