When Nate Richert was cast in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, he became a worldwide sensation practically overnight.
The actor portrayed the love interest of Melissa Joan Hart’s character, Harvey Kinkle, and his charming personality and handsome looks left millions of young women across the globe in awe.
But now, decades on from the show, Richert, 47, certainly looks very different.
The former teen heartthrob – who hasn’t acted in 20 years – recently reunited with his Sabrina the Teenage Witch costars, and he was practically unrecognizable.
Joan Hart shared a snap with him and Beth Broderick, who played Sabrina’s aunt Zelda in the series, to Instagram on Tuesday, writing: ‘When the magic fam comes together!’
Richert donned a pink button-down shirt, a jean jacket and gray hat as he smiled at the camera.

The former TV star is now all grown up and looked a far cry from his all-American image from the 1990s children’s show.
Richert’s last acting role was in 2006 and he previously revealed that he had taken a job as a janitor in order to ‘pay the bills.’
Richert made his acting debut as Harvey Kinkle in Sabrina the Teenage Witch in 1996 and continued to star in the show until 2003, when it came to an end.
It followed Sabrina Spellman, a teenager with magical powers who lived with her witch aunts, and it also starred Caroline Rhea and Nick Bakay.
Despite his success in the beloved series, Richert’s acting career never quite took off.
He went on to star in a few movies like comedy-drama Lovely & Amazing and Gamebox 1.0 and had brief appearances in the shows Fantasy Island, Beggars and Choosers and Touched by an Angel.
In the 2010s, his focus seemed to switch to music as he often shared videos of himself playing guitar on Instagram.
And in 2018, the star revealed that he was now working several day jobs in order to pay his bills.

At the time, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that he worked as a janitor, maintenance man and carpenter, while highlighting how difficult it is for actors to get regular work.
‘I’m extremely lucky to have had any success at all, let alone solid work in film and TV for six years (20 years ago),’ he wrote.
‘I’m currently a maintenance man, a janitor, a carpenter and do whatever random jobs I can get to pay the bills.’
The actor made it clear that he’s not ashamed of having to work regular day jobs in addition to his work as a performer in order to sustain his passion.
‘I do improv and song write to maintain my sanity,’ he added. ‘Actors so very rarely have job security or consistent work, quality healthcare, a reasonable retirement.
‘We are actors anyway because it is who we are at the core, for the love and need to bring the words on the page to life and to make you feel them (God, I love to make you laugh).’

Richert also called fame ‘a necessary evil’ because it comes with ‘the loss of anonymity, which can be uplifting when it brings someone joy, and hard when mean people decide to be mean.’
In recent years, he has kept a pretty low profile.
He attends various Comic Cons and fan events from time to time, and recently launched his own podcast with fellow Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Curtis Andersen.
He married a woman named Malorie Felt in 2019, but they jointly filed for divorce four years later in 2023.
