Rupali Ganguly’s issues with Anupamaa co-stars
Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa has been in the news this year. We heard of lead actress Rupali Ganguly having issues with costar Gaurav Khanna. It was being reported that they do not like each other. They had also stopped sharing pictures together on social media. Apart from this, we saw Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma leaving the show. This news left everyone shocked and it was being said that they left because of issues with Rupali. Madalsa even confirmed this and called Rupali two faced. Even Nidhi Shah, Paras Kalnawat indirectly confirmed that they left the show because of her. They also said that she is very insecure.
Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe’s ouster from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was also in the news for all wrong reasons. We saw the generation leap happened and Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe were cast as the leads. However, Shehzada and Pratiksha were removed from the show because of their unprofessional behaviour. It was being said that they were dating and Shehzada treated everyone badly on the sets. Rajan Shahi shared that he had attitude problems and used to behave badly with his staff. Shehzada denied these rumours and instead said that the director treated him badly on the sets and he was removed from the show with a lot of humiliation.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Gurucharan Singh went missing
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi suddenly went missing. His parents were worried and later he appeared suddenly. He gave reasons like unresolved legal matters and health challenges. He went missing for around 26 days leaving everyone shocked.
Palak Sindhwani’s controvserial exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been in the news since last year when Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal accused makers of sexual harassment. Post that we saw so many actors making controversial exit. This year, Palak Sindhwani aka Sonu left the show and shared how the makers troubled her when she decided to leave the show. She said that they stopped her payment and accused her breaching the contract by doing ads on social media. Asit Kumarr Modi and team issued a statement that Palak broke the contract by doing ads despite being given warnings.
Asim Riaz’s ouster from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14
Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 was also the most talked about one this year. Asim Riaz was a part of it but he was removed from the show after he misbehaved with his co-contestants and host Rohit Shetty. This happened in the first episode itself and we saw everyone slamming him for his behaviour towards Rohit Shetty. However, some even defended him and said that the other contestants provoked him.
Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel’s divorce
Dalljiet and Nikhil got married in March last year but the marriage broke within a year in a bad way. Dalljiet accused Nikhil of extra martial affair and infidelity. Nikhil said their marriage was invalid due to his unresolved first marriage divorce. Dalljiet returned to India with son, Jaydon and shared how Nikhil cheated on him. She is still talking against him and even accused her ex-husband, Shalin Bhanot of not paying attention on their son.
Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter’s allegations
Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly was in the news for another big reason. Her stepdaughter, Esha Verma made serious allegations against her on social media. For the unversed, Rupali’s husband, Ashwin is married twice before marrying her. Esha accused Rupali for breaking their house and stealing her mother, Priyanka Verma’s jewellery. She called Rupali toxic and said that she gave strange medications to Ashwin. She also said that Rupali and Ashwin bullied her. Later, she also called Rudransh as Rupali-Ashwin’s illegitimate child. After this, Rupali filed a Rs 50 crore defamation case against. Post that, Esha removed all the posts against her.
Poonam Pandey’s death joke
Poonam Pandey left everyone shocked when the news of her death came out. On February 2, her manager posted about her being dead due to cervical cancer on her official Instagram handle. Everyone was deeply saddened by the news. The next day, Poonam Pandey made fun of everyone’s emotions. Poonam took to her Instagram and announced that she faked her death to spread awareness about cervical cancer. People were upset with her for her way of spreading awareness about cervical cancer. Celebrities slammed her for this kind of dirty joke.
Sunil Pal’s kidnapping
Ace comedian Sunil Pal went to Haridwar for some event and he got kidnapped there. This incident happened on December 2. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakhs but released him after he paid them Rs 8 lakhs. His wife had lodged a missing person report at the Santacruz police station. Many have been accusing Sunil Pal of faking it and doing these things just for PR. However, the comedian has denied these rumours and said that it was not a PR stunt. Recently, the police of Meerut said the comedian faked his own kidnapping. They released an audio of his planning with the kidnappers. Sunil then said that he had to say those things as he was kept on gun point and it was the kidnappers plan.
Death on the sets of Anupamaa
We recently heard of a death happening on the sets of Anupamaa. A lightman lost his life on the sets of the show while he was doing some technical works. He accidently touched some electric wires and was immediately taken to the hospital. But, he lost his life during treatment. The President of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), B.N Tiwari said that the makers have been hiding the identity of the deceased. AICWA President Suresh Gupta said that production house have been trying to suppress the matter. However, later, the makers issued an official statement. They confirmed that the tragic death did happen on the sets of the show. They explained the matter and even said that they are supporting the family of the deceased.
