Running Man’s Ji Ye-eun and her dance choreographer boyfriend Vata will be tying the knot on Dec 12, which also coincides with the latter’s birthday.
South Korean media reported today (Sept 2) that the good news was announced through their respective agencies.
CP Entertainment, who manages the actress-host, said: “The two promised to share their lives based on deep trust.”
Vata’s management agency Ara also said they will “start a new journey as husband and wife” and have “promised to become each other’s most reliable companions based on deep trust and love.”
Ye-eun and Vata, both 32, first announced their relationship in April 2025 through their agencies, after meeting in church and developed romantic feelings for each other.
Vata is the leader of dance crew We Dem Boyz and has choreographed K-pop hits including Like Jennie from Blackpink’s Jennie and Tempo from Shinee’s Minho.
He also designed the dance sequence for the song Milk Shake, which is performed by Ye-eun and her Running Man team member Ji Seok-jin for their co-ed duo group Choongju Ji-C in 2025.
He had also accompanied Ye-eun through a difficult period as she battled thyroid cancer in late 2025.
Besides Running Man, Ye-eun also starred in variety shows Kian’s Bizarre B&B (2024) and Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! (2026), and acted in the K-drama Good Partner (2024).
