Rumer Willis commemorated her dad Bruce Willis’ 70th birthday by giving fans an update on the retired actor’s health following his dementia diagnosis.
The “Sorority Row” actress shared some insight into her father’s well-being during an Instagram Story Q&A on Tuesday — the day before his milestone birthday.
“How’s your dad doing?” a concerned fan asked Rumer, 36, via social media.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum shared that the “Die Hard” star was “doing great” in a video response.
“Thank you for asking,” she continued with a smile. “It is actually his 70th birthday tomorrow, so please wish my papa a big, happy birthday.”
Rumer’s latest update on Bruce was quite similar to the one she shared last August.
“He is great. I love him so much. Thank you,” she wrote at the time.
Bruce retired from his acting career in March 2022 as his family revealed he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a rare disorder that can cause memory loss and verbal issues.
The following year, his loved ones shared that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, which causes speech and behavioral issues, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Bruce shares Rumer and daughters Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, to whom he was married from 1987 to 2000.
The “Sixth Sense” star also has daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with his current wife, Emma Heming, whom he wed in 2009.
Heming, 46, celebrated her husband’s birthday Wednesday by reposting a sweet message that Tallulah shared featuring a throwback photo of Bruce.
“happy 70th to my favorite friend! you are a light that can never be dimmed! I love you so proud to be your baby Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis 🐟🐠,” Tallulah, 31, captioned the post.
Scout, 33, also shared a sweet message for her dad along with a slideshow of photos and videos of their memories together.
“Happy birthday to the Greatest of all time. 🐐Every day I thank the Gods that 50% of my DNA is from him,” she gushed on Instagram.
“The music I make, the magic I create, and the magnetic mischief I incite, that’s my father’s legacy alive in the world.”
