Rob Reiner has earned a posthumous Emmy nomination for his role in “The Bear” after his tragic murder.

The late actor was nominated on Wednesday for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy for his performance as Albert on the hit FX show.

Reiner portrayed businessman and restaurateur Albert Schnurr in the fourth season of the culinary comedy, which has received eight nominations in this year’s upcoming awards ceremony.

Hollywood has been in mourning since Rob and his wife Michele Singer Reiner’s tragic passings last December.

“The Bear” paid tribute to Rob in the series finale. In the emotional scene, line cook Ebra, played by Edwin Lee Gibson, calls Albert for assistance about expanding the restaurant into a franchise. 

Ebra chats with Albert on the phone, telling him, “Albert, we are in business.”

Ebra then asks, “Anything else I can do?” and while Albert’s response can’t be hears, Ebra replies, “As you wish.”

The legendary filmmaker was also honored during the 98th annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles in March.

Billy Crystal was joined by more than a dozen stars from Rob’s films to pay an emotional tribute to the late director, which led the In Memoriam segment.
