Tyga and Madelaine Petsch are officially an item!
On Tuesday, sources confirmed to TMZ that the “Riverdale” star, 30, and the rapper, 35, are dating after stepping out together multiple times over the last few weeks.
Insiders said the two, who have been friends for a while, started seeing each other romantically around a month ago. Although the relationship is very new, they’ve reportedly been telling people how much they love spending time together.
Reps for Petsch and Tyga did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.
The duo first sparked dating rumors last month after sitting courtside together at a Los Angeles Lakers game. Although they didn’t show any PDA, the pair seemed to be in great spirits as they took in the action.
One week later, the “Rack City” rapper and Petsch stepped out for Vanity Fair and Instagram’s “A Night For Young Hollywood” event, where they matched in all-black.
Petsch wore a semi-sheer, velvet midi dress with a black choker while Tyga wore an all-leather look.
Although they walked the red carpet separately, the two stayed close inside the party, which was held at Bar Marmont.
They were photographed together throughout the evening, looking cozy while seated next to one another.
After chatting with pals for a few hours — including some of Petsch’s “Riverdale” co-stars — the two left the star-studded soirée arm-in-arm.
Tyga was last linked to Avril Lavigne, whom he dated on and off from February 2023 to October 2023. He also previously dated Chanel Iman, Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna, with whom he shares his 12-year-old son, King Cairo.
Meanwhile, Petsch’s last relationship with friend-turned-boyfriend Anthony Li seemingly ended in 2024.
She and Li had been friends for nearly a decade before their relationship turned romantic in 2022. Petsch last posted a picture with Li in February 2024. However, it’s unclear exactly when they split.
Before her relationship with the music manager, the actress had a brief fling with fencer Miles Chamley-Watson in 2021.
The short-lived romance came on the heels of her breakup from Travis Mills, whom she dated from 2017 to 2020.
Following their split, Pestch told Flaunt Magazine that her “mental health was at an all-time low” while dealing with her new single status amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Every day was definitely a challenge, and therapy was absolutely key for me to keep sane,” she told the outlet in January 2021. “My best friend moved in with me and that was a huge game-changer for my mental health. I found ways to be creative while staying positive and reading books.”
During an interview with Cosmopolitan the following month, Petsch admitted she regretted sharing so much about her relationship with Mills online.
“I was so public with my boyfriend,” she said. “I wish I would’ve pulled back a little bit.”
During their three-year romance, Petsch and Mills regularly posted YouTube videos together and gushed about one another on Instagram.
“Moving forward, I will keep personal relationships like that off my YouTube,” she added.
