Rihanna stepped out in New York City on Wednesday night in a nostalgic staple of the mid-aughts — an orangey tan velour tracksuit — though her take on the look was decidedly elevated.
She styled the Chloé zip-up sweater ($1,250) and matching wide-leg pants ($990) with a vintage Fendi crocodile embossed leather handbag in a coordinating caramel hue.
A pair of rose-tinted Louis Vuitton aviator sunglasses shielded her eyes from the paparazzi as she left Meatpacking District bistro Pastis.
The Fenty mogul, 38, later added a Goyard duffel bag slung across her body as she headed to the airport.
She wore a pair of snakeskin sandals for the outing, showing off a fresh pedicure in her signature crisp white. Her manicurist Kimmie Kyees recently told Elle that the multihyphenate has stuck with the same shade for over a decade
“She’s maybe varied from that color on her toes twice,” Kyees said. “It’s very barefoot, clean, completely neutral, goes-with-everything type of color. It really makes sure feet look clean.”
The “Work” singer currently cover’s Harper’s Bazaar’s September issue cover in a Dior headpiece — a nod to her latest role as the face of the brand’s J’Adore Intense fragrance.
She’s spent the past few weeks home in her native Barbados with kids RZA, 4, Riot, 3, and Rocki, 11 months. During the visit, the family stopped by Rihanna Drive, the mogul’s childhood street that has since been renamed in her honor.
“One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury … the next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive,’” she captioned snaps from the day on Instagram. “Trippy how life works!”
