Ricky Martin was at the center of online attention following his cameo in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show Sunday, with a number of commenters saying the singer looked much younger than his age.

The 54-year-old entertainer took to the stage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where he sang on a rendition of Bad Bunny’s Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii.

The San Juan, Puerto Rico native performed partially while seated next to a plantain tree, paying homage to Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos album cover.  

Online, many people chat about the Livin’ La Vida Loca’s youthful look – with one person saying he compared favorably to Bad Bunny, 31.

‘I never heard of Bad Bunny,’ one commenter said. ‘My kids have. 

‘But I do know Ricky Martin. I just don’t understand how Ricky Martin looks younger than the bunny guy.’

Some compared the Menudo alum to other celebrities in terms of appearance: One said he ‘looks exactly like [a] gay Travis Kelce’ while another remarked he looks ‘like Drake now.’

The song Martin performed in part during the set Sunday, Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii, touches on the colonization of Hawaii in contrast to Puerto Rico’s as a territory overseen by the U.S., as well as ongoing gentrification.

The Grammy-winning artist also performed on a rendition of Bad Bunny’s 2022 track El Apagón, a politically-charged song about the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Martin and Bad Bunny had previously worked together in 2018 on the track Caro from Bad Bunny’s first studio album X 100pre.
