Erin Lichy is hitting back at critics who are questioning her mothering skills.
The Real Housewives of New York cast member was trying to have fun in a video as she held her new baby and made herself a martini.
The reality star, 37, was lip-synching the words Diamond DonDada’s ‘She’s Back’ in a video posted April 4, but viewers noticed something seemed a little off.
‘Oh my god the baby’s head is just dangling whilst she’s making a martini and Tiktok. priorities girl,’ posted one concerned commenter.
‘Tell a friend to tell a friend how to hold an infant,’ wrote another.
‘I am normally the last person to judge other people’s parenting as mine is not exactly everyone’s cup of tea but honey hold his head up that’s ridiculous,’ was another strong admonition.

Lichy, who joined the re-boot of the Bravo reality show in 2023, was quick to answer the critics.
‘Looks worse than it is promise lol,’ to respond and then later added, ‘Also HIS HEAD WAS SUPPORTED. was leaning down a little but like calm your t*ts it was a 5 second video.’
Some fans suggested the critics take a chill pill as this wasn’t Lichy’s first time wrangling an infant.
‘Everyone commenting about the babies head, are you first time moms? Or moms at all? Lol. it’s the 4th child he’ll survive, she’s done this plenty.’
‘I think the fact that she’s making a drink while holding her baby like this makes it look much much much worse,’ another said.
While others doubled down on it being ‘wrong’ with one fan saying: ‘I’m curious to know what looks worse than it is. It’s bad enough she’s holding her newborn like a loaf of bread flopping around, but as she shakes a fresh cocktail??? I’m all for us having our little treats/vices but the glorification of alcohol is so weird.
Lichy and her husband Abe, 41, announced the arrival of their fourth child Jack Hunter Lichy on March 30 with the hashtag #crazyinlove.
The entrepreneur revealed her pregnancy news in November 2024.
‘Three versus four kids doesn’t seem so scary,” she told People in an interview saying she was ‘adding another act to the circus.’
The couple are also parents to Levi, about 11, Layla, about seven, and Elijah, about 4.
Many wrote that the baby’s head seemed to be unsupported in the snippet showing Lichy making a martini. Lichy pushed back saying ‘Looks worse than it is promise lol,’ and later added, ‘Also HIS HEAD WAS SUPPORTED’

She and Abe are the founders of the Mezcalum, which, as the name would indicate, sells mezcal.
A bottle of their product was in the background of the video Lichy uploaded on TikTok.
The Lichys also launched their new podcast COME TOGETHER on Monday.
In their announcement the pair said they will discuss ‘love, sex, marriage, relationships, friendships, business and so much more.’
