Rebecca Loos has claimed the Beckham’s public image does not match ‘what is going on behind closed doors’ while wading into the family’s bitter feud with eldest son Brooklyn.
David’s former PA, 48, who previously claimed to have had an affair with the married footballer, which he has repeatedly denied, came to the defence of her ex employer’s eldest son in a clip from documentary, The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies, which airs on Channel 5 on Sunday.
Brooklyn, 26, severed all ties with his family in a bombshell six-page statement last week, where he revealed he has no wishes to reconcile with them, and called his parents ‘controlling and manipulative’.
Appearing to back up the aspiring chef’s bombshell allegations, Rebecca compared the David and Victoria to the Wizard of Oz, whose real identity is kept hidden from the public behind a curtain.
She said: ‘I think I realised they were much more of a brand because what they were putting in the public didn’t really match what I was seeing behind closed doors’.
‘They really had this kind of image they were trying to portray and no matter who ever tried to tear the curtains down that image was very, very strong and all they kind of focussed on was the impression I got’.

Rebecca also took pity on Brooklyn and defended him agains ‘shameful’ taunts over his numerous career endeavours, which has also included model and photographer, describing him as a ‘young man finding his way’.
‘Let him find his way and shame on anyone who’s mocking him or, you know… This is a young man finding his way, finding his path in life. So what if he’s changed careers?
Before adding: ‘Who says the career you choose when you’re 22 is the one you have to do for the rest of your life?’.
It comes after Rebecca was accused of ‘attention seeking’ after weighing into Brooklyn’s public estrangement from his family in the forthcoming Channel 5 documentary which airs on February 1.
In one clip Rebecca, whose public claims of an affair with the former footballer led to a short-lived reality TV career, suggesting Brooklyn’s lurid social statement is ‘validation for what I said 22 years ago.’
But the mother-of-two has been berated for inserting herself into the unfolding narrative, despite having no direct involvement with Brooklyn and his immediate family members.
Taking to X, one incensed viewer wrote: ‘Why drag that bitter woman, Rebecca Loos, into the equation? She had an affair with a married man who didn’t leave his wife for her, so she’s clearly got an axe to grind against the Beckhams.
‘She has zero credibility, brings nothing new to the saga, & is attention-seeking YET again.’

A second added: ‘OMG most people would be ashamed of having an affair with a married man, but this loser is back for another 15 min-congrats – you’re a sleaze bag and just as unlikeable as Brooklyn the brat for broadcasting very hurtful content to the world… now slither away.’
Elsewhere, a third wrote: ‘She claims she knowingly slept with a married man. And a client. Both verboten.
‘I don’t take away from David’s duplicity if true, but isn’t Victoria entitled to salvage what she can however she can? Loos should be apologising to her, not lambasting her.’
A fourth posted: ‘Rebecca Loos is again telling her stories; if she is a liar, why don’t they sue her?’
Rebecca made headlines across the world after claiming she had an affair with David while working as the Beckham family’s PR following his move to Real Madrid in 2003.
Addressing those allegations in the new documentary, Loos says she found herself at the centre of a ‘PR war’ after going public.
She said: ‘Suddenly you’re part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago.
Brooklyn alleged that his parents David and Victoria Beckham have tried to sabotage his marriage and have always prioritized public branding over their family relationships
‘Brooklyn is basically confirming inauthentic relationships, value of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it’s all focused on brand Beckham, and that that’s all that matters.’
The Beckham family falling-out spilled further into public view last Monday in a series of social media posts from Brooklyn alleging that his parents David and Victoria Beckham have tried to sabotage his marriage and have always prioritized public branding over their family relationships.
‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into,’ he wrote in six pages of text posted via Instagram.
He married American actor Nicola Peltz, daughter of activist investor Nelson Peltz, in 2022.
‘Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they´ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out,’ the posts read.
He added: ‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I´m not being controlled, I´m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.’
Many of the grievances described in the Instagram Stories stem from the Peltz-Beckham wedding in Florida. He accused his mother of bailing at the last minute on designing Peltz’s wedding dress, and said she “hijacked” the first dance he was supposed to have with his wife to music performed by Marc Anthony.
‘She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,’ he wrote. ‘I´ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.’
Without giving specifics he also wrote that before the wedding his parents “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name.”
The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies, produced by ITN Productions, airs on Sunday 1st February at 9pm on 5.
