Ray J revealed that he has been prescribed eight different medications just days after claiming he won’t live to see 2027.
The 45-year-old star – who previously dated Kim Kardashian and was involved in their infamous sex tape – gave an update to TMZ in an article published on Thursday amid his health battle.
It comes shortly after the media personality told fans this week that he has less than a year to live and shared his heart is ‘only beating 25 percent’ of full capacity.
Ray J told TMZ that doctors have suggested that he rest in bed while taking medications such as include Lipitor, which helps to lower bad cholesterol.
He has also been prescribed Jardiance and Entresto – both aimed at helping patients diagnosed with heart failure.
Ray J explained that half his heart has turned black and is beating at just 60 percent.

Doctors also told the star that he may need a defibrillator or pacemaker – but he won’t know until his next appointment in two weeks.
The TV personality has also been informed that he needs to refrain from smoking and drinking.
And while he admitted that has been difficult for him, Ray J is doing his best to not do either.
He also referenced to his children Melody, seven, and Epik, six – whom he shares with estranged wife Princess Love, saying not being able to see his kids ‘took me down.’
Late last year in November over the Thanksgiving holiday, he was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on his estranged wife and issuing violent threats.
According to records obtained by the Daily Mail at the time, the singer was arrested around 4:00am and booked on a felony charge of making criminal threats, described as ‘terrorizing causing fear.’
Ray J was taken into custody and spent a few hours in jail before being released on a $50,000 bail. A Domestic Violence protective order has since been issued.
He also expressed his interest to travel to Haiti in order to find a cure for his heart ailment.

Ray J told TMZ that he will ‘be stronger and a better person’ if he is able to fully recover.
Earlier this week, the star claimed his doctors told him he has less than a year to live due to health concerns.
He took to Instagram to share a video updating his fans and thanking them for their support.
In between promoting his reality shows, he dropped a bombshell about his health and predicted that does not have long to live.
At one point during the clip, he said: ‘2027 is definitely a wrap for me. That’s what [the doctors] say.’
He said that he was told to take better of his body following the health scare. ‘I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro,’ he continued.
Ray J also talked about what he wanted to leave behind for his estranged wife Princess Love and his children.
‘My baby mama gonna be straight. My kids gonna be straight. If they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it. I did my part here.’
He continued: ‘And d***, when it’s all done, burn me. Don’t bury me.’

Over the past weekend, he also shared another post and told his fans that he ‘almost died’ when he was in the hospital.

In his video, he also jumped right into discussing his TV shows and his intention to get right back to work.
Just weeks before giving insight into his latest health battle, Ray J had been hospitalized with pneumonia – after battling the illness a little over four years ago.
He received treatment after being admitted into a Las Vegas hospital, TMZ reported earlier this month.
The One Wish singer had also been experiencing chest pains and a source told the outlet that Ray J underwent X-rays as well as an echocardiogram, but the results were not disclosed at the time.
He had been diagnosed and hospitalized with pneumonia back in October 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
More than a week later, Ray J was released after initially needing supplemental oxygen and an inhaler in order to help him breathe.
