Ranveer Singh’s starrer Dhurandhar has been making waves at the box office. The film has joined the Rs 200 crore club within a week of release, marking its dominance.

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar hit the theaters on December 5 and has already completed its first week. At first, the hopes were very high, but Dhurandhar has gone beyond all expectations. The film with Aditya Dhar as director has been produced in a big way. Ranveer Singh is accompanied by some of the leading stars like Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal. This is why the box office was initially expected to be very good—and it was. The movie scored a fantastic opening of Rs 28 crore on day one itself. Then on Saturday, there was a rise in collections by about 14%, bringing the total to Rs 32 crore. The increase in collections was even sharper on Sunday when the film grossed Rs 43 crore, which was almost 34% more than Saturday’s figure. Monday was slightly lower at Rs 23.25 crore. This represented a decline of more than 50% compared to Sunday; however, the collection on Monday was still considered strong.

Dhurandhar’s first week box office earnings

On Tuesday, Dhurandhar performed well again, earning around Rs 27 crore. The situation remained similar on Wednesday, earning another Rs 27 crore, equaling Tuesday’s figures. Thursday’s collection also remained at Rs 27 crore. Thus, the film’s first-week total earned Rs 207.25 crore, a strong figure for any big-budget film, indicating a strong response.

In the second week, as of Friday afternoon, Day 8, Dhurandhar earned Rs 5.27 crore. With this, the film’s total net earnings in India have reached Rs 212.52 crore. According to initial reports by Sacnilk, the film continues to hold strong, and collections are expected to increase further in the coming days. Audiences are praising the action, story, and performances of the actors, which are considered the biggest reasons for the film’s success.
