Prince Harry is hitting the polo field in Aspen, Colo. ahead of his future holiday plans with Meghan Markle and their family.
Photos showed the Duke of Sussex, 41, playing a friendly game of polo with pals on Wednesday in what appears to be a sporty break for the royal.
He appeared lively as he showed off his well-practiced skills on top of a horse in his light blue Aspen Valley team polo jersey and white pants. He finished off his look with a pair of dark shades and the rest of his athletic gear.
The prince previously made an appearance in the Colorado hot spot for a charity polo match in 2021 following the birth of his daughter, Princess Lilibet, now 4.
Hours before his polo photos surfaced, an additional set of photos were posted showing Harry skiing with his friend Nacho Figueras.
“Prince Harry was with Nacho for about four hours on the mountains. The pair spent the day skiing and enjoyed lunch together at one of the restaurants at the resort,” a source told Hello! Magazine.
“Harry seemed happy and was also joined by a number of male friends on the slopes.”
According to the outlet, neither Markle, 44, nor their children made the trip with him.
However, as Page Six previously reported earlier this week, the royals are expected to still celebrate the Christmas holiday at home in Montecito, Calif., alongside their kids and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland.
But the parents have reportedly made plans to jet away with friends shortly after for a glamorous New Year’s vacation out of the country.
The holiday travels come as the “With Love, Meghan” star faces scrutiny for allegedly not showing up to support her ailing father, Thomas Markle, shortly after he underwent emergency surgery for a dangerous blood clot and had his leg amputated as a result.
While a rep for the royal previously claimed that the Duchess of Sussex had, in fact, reached out to her father, Thomas alleged that he had not received any correspondence from his daughter.
“I don’t want to die estranged from Meghan. I want to meet my grandkids. It might be nice to meet her husband too,” Thomas told the Daily Mail at the time.
In the most recent update, the Sussex rep had since told Page Six that Markle finally managed to get a letter to her father.
“It has been exceedingly difficult for the duchess to contact her father privately, despite her efforts over the past several days,” said the rep. “With the support of reliable and trusted contacts, her correspondence is now safely in his hands.”
