The Sussex kids could be making their way across the pond soon.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4 — are one step closer to having a reunion with their paternal grandfather, King Charles III, in the UK after the Duke of Sussex’s security battle breakthrough.
The UK’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) is now conducting a full-scale review of Harry’s security to reassess his threat level, according to the US Sun.
The UK government reportedly collected evidence from the “Spare” author’s team and the police; and their decision will be announced next month.
“The UK Government’s protective security system is rigorous and proportionate,” a UK government spokesperson told People.
“It is our long-standing policy not to provide detailed information on those arrangements, as doing so could compromise their integrity and affect individuals’ security,” they added.
Page Six has reached out to Harry’s rep but they declined to comment.
In May, Harry, 41, lost his appeal challenging the UK government’s decision to strip him of his publicly funded security after he stepped away from royal family duties and moved to North America.
Since the Invictus Games founder’s move, he has been estranged from his brother, Prince William, and their father, Charles.
In 2023, Harry released a tell-all book and Netflix show about his family issues, which caused the rift to widen.
Though he stated that his father wouldn’t speak to him, Harry and Charles, 77, reunited for the first time in over a year during the duke’s London trip in September.
A source told Us Weekly that there were reportedly “hugs and tears” and the “mood was genuine and positive.”
Harry slammed reports that his reunion with his dad was “distinctly formal” and left him feeling more like an “official visitor” than family.
Before this year, Harry and the monarch had not met up in person since February 2024, when Charles announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
