Police in Australia have cast doubt on Virginia (née Roberts) Giuffre’s claim that she has “days to live” after a horrific bus accident last week.
A spokesperson for the Western Australia Police Force (WAPF) told the Mirror Tuesday that they received a report of a “minor crash” between a bus and car in Neergabby just after 3 p.m. local time on March 24.
However, the accident was not reported until the bus driver called the authorities the following day.
The vehicle reportedly sustained about $1,200 in damages and police further claimed there “were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.”
Acting Police Commissioner Kylie Whitely added in a press conference Tuesday, per abc.net.au, that “nobody was taken to hospital from that scene” and “no serious injuries were sustained.”
However, it was confirmed that a 71-year-old woman was behind the wheel of the bus, and a 41-year-old female driver was driving the vehicle. Giuffree is 41.
Page Six has reached out to the WAPF for more information but did not immediately hear back.
Giuffre — who rose to prominence as one of the women who blew the whistle on Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged sex crimes, claiming the now-deceased sex offender forced her to have intercourse with Prince Andrew multiple times — took to Instagram Sunday to share a gruesome picture of herself covered in bruises.
“This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can,” she claimed in the post.
Giuffre further alleged, “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”
The Victims Refuse Silence creator has not given further updates about her health. Page Six has reached out to her former US-based attorney, Brad Edwards, for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The lawyer told the Daily Mail on Monday, however, that he was “hoping for better news in the coming days” and believed Giuffre could pull through with the proper medical care.
Lady Victoria Hervey, who previously dated Andrew, is not buying Giuffre’s version of the events.
The British aristocrat, 48, wrote in a blunt and scathing post on Instagram Monday that Andrew’s accuser’s accident is “KARMA.”
“Hearing from reliable sources it is thought that the FBI went to her recently with evidence/proof that she lied with recordings where she admits nothing ever happened with Prince Andrew,” Hervey claimed. “She’s conveniently dying to evade jail.”
The former model said she considers herself a “skeptic” and doesn’t “believe in jumping to any conclusions right away from a visual.”
Giuffre has always stood by her allegations that Ghislaine Maxwell recruited her into Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation in 2000. Andrew, 65, denied any wrongdoing but settled Giuffre’s rape lawsuit against him for an estimated $12 million in 2022.
The royal’s mother, Queen Elizabeth II, also stripped him of his military titles as a result of the scandal.
