A new Pokémon movie is headed to the big screen. Pokémon: Wild Card was announced Sunday night during the closing ceremony of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, which took place in San Francisco. “For the first time in seven years, a new Pokémon movie is on its way,” the Pokémon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said at the event, according to IGN.
