Pete Davidson is doing “things differently” with new girlfriend Elsie Hewitt following a string of high-profile romances.
A source exclusively tells Page Six that “things are getting serious” between the “Saturday Night Live” alum and the model.
“Pete is all in,” the insider says. “He really likes Elsie a lot and he wants to do things differently this time around.”
“He doesn’t want to rush things and he took his time getting to know her before getting involved in anything romantic.”
The source tells us, “They started off as friends and were able to build that foundation of friendship which allowed Pete to see if his values aligned with Elsie’s.”
The “Bupkis” star, 31, “has taken things slow because he really wanted to get to know her.”
A rep for Pete did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The comedian is no stranger to making headlines as he has been romantically linked to a wide-ranging list of Hollywood ladies.
His first serious public relationship was with Larry David’s daughter Cazzie David, which was quickly followed by a whirlwind engagement with Ariana Grande.
He later was linked to Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley and Phoebe Dynevor.
Perhaps Davidson’s most public relationship, however, came when he began dating Kim Kardashian not long after they kissed during a skit for “SNL” in 2021.
The pair split up in August 2022 after nine months of dating, with sources telling Page Six that the couple’s busy work schedules ultimately got in the way of their romantic relationship.
Davidson’s public romance with Madelyn Cline also made headlines until the pair called it quits in July after less than a year of dating.
Earlier this month, Page Six broke the news that Davidson was dating someone new and that “he’s very happy.”
We revealed the funnyman’s new flame is “very different from anybody else” he’s previously dated.
“She respects Pete and his desire for privacy,” an insider said at the time.
According to the source, his mom, Amy Waters Davidson, and sister, Casey Davidson, “approve of this relationship and love seeing Pete so happy.”
