Paulina Porizkova showed off her impressively toned physique while ushering in another year into her 60s.
The supermodel turned 61 years old on Thursday, and one day ahead, she posted a video of herself sporting a red and white striped bikini.
Porizkova talked about how far she’s come when it comes to self-acceptance on the eve of her birthday.
“I will be 61 tomorrow and I understand this might sound crazy to you, but 40 years ago when I was 21 and when I was at the height of my career and supermodeldom, that was when I felt the most insecure, partly because of the endless comparisons to the other models by the people who employed me,” she recalled.
“I never seemed to be good enough,” she added.
Porizkova said that at the time, her self-worth was solely tied to her looks.
“So today, I’m trying on this cute summer bikini and I flex muscles that I’ve been working my cellulite butt off for, not necessarily so I can look best in this bikini, but to feel my best in this sixth decade,” she explained.
But she admitted she works hard to achieve her physique.
“Actually, who am I kidding? I kicked my workout up like 10 notches because I do want to look my best this summer, but not necessarily in a bikini … in a wedding dress,” she said, before blowing a kiss to the camera.
Porizova was referring to her engagement to writer Jeff Greenstein. He popped the question in July 2025, after two years of dating.
She was previously married to late Cars frontman Ric Ocasek. The former couple tied the knot in 1989 and welcomed two sons together — Jonathan, 31, and Oliver, 27 — before announcing their separation in 2018 after 28 years of marriage.
Porizkova has often gotten candid with fans about aging. Last month, she modeled pink lingerie while acknowledging the “smoke and mirrors” of social media.
“That’s how you make it look good for a moment,” she wrote about using filters. “The truth is, gravity takes its toll. But! Gravity has also built your strength so you can hold your head higher than ever.”
She noted, “With all the obvious so-called-flaws of age, I have never felt sexier and more at home in my skin.”
