Patrick Ball and Alden Ehrenreich will make their Broadway debuts this spring.
Ball, known for his role in The Pitt, will star in Gina Gionfriddo’s play Becky Shaw at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater, alongside Ehrenreich (Weapons) and Linda Edmond (Death of a Salesman, Cabaret). The play, directed by Trip Cullman, follows a blind date between Max and Beck that spirals out of control and disrupts the lives of Max’s friends Suzanna and Andrew.

Ball will play Andrew and Ehrenreich will play Max. Edmond will play Susan, mother to Suzanna. Casting for the roles of Suzanna and Becky will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ball makes his Broadway debut after appearing as Dr. Frank Langdon in HBO’s The Pitt, which is gearing up for the release of its second season. He recently starred in Robert O’Hara’s production of Hamlet, in the titular role, at the Mark Taper Forum.
Ehrenreich most recently appeared in Zach Cregger’s feature Weapons opposite Josh Brolin, after appearing in Cocaine Bear, Oppenheimer and starring in the Marvel series Ironheart. He recently wrapped on the feature The Last Resort, opposite Daisy Ridley.
