Paris Jackson called out the critics “freaking out” over the completely sheer dress she wore to Stella McCartney’s show during Paris Fashion Week.
The musician responded to the “mixed reviews” on her Instagram Stories Friday, admitting that she caught a “good amount of flack” over the revealing look.
“I don’t really understand why the human body is a driving force for so much discomfort in so many people,” she said while lying in bed, per videos reposted by a fan on TikTok.
“Like, it’s just a body. Like, just a body on a human, which is an animal. We look at other naked animals all the time,” she continued. “Don’t get uncomfortable with our bodies. It’s your body, you’ve got one, I’ve got one, we’ve all got one. It’s OK. There’s nothing wrong with it.”
Jackson, 26, further noted, “as animals” we “abided by the laws of nature” until “one day, humans decided we’re not animals, we’re going to wear clothes and we’re gonna rule over all the other animals.”
With that point, the model emphasized that it’s really “not that big of a deal” and that “we’ve got bigger fish to fry.”
“Stop freaking out about nipples, man!” she concluded.
The upload came days after the daughter of the late Michael Jackson stepped out in the black, off-the-shoulder look from Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 collection.
Despite the backlash, she continued her streak of see-through looks throughout the week. The sober starlet went full avant-garde in a dramatic Iris van Herpen gown for the Louvre’s Grand Fashion Dinner.
The eye-catching look featured macramé cutouts that created a web-like design across the bodice and lower stomach. Paris didn’t wear a bra underneath the “deep-sea” inspired gown, leaving little to the imagination.
She also went braless in a billowing sheer dress at the star-studded Costes party. She paired the high-neck design with black shorts and thigh-high boots.
The “Hit Your Knees” singer has never been one to let the naysayers dictate her sense of style — or self.
In August 2023, she hit back after trolls commented on her unshaved armpits in a post dedicated to her late dad.
“i wasn’t tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair,” Paris posted on X in response to one person saying she “made this whole video just to show you don’t shave your armpits.”
“i’ve not shaved it for years and forget it’s there all the time,” she replied. “get over yourselves.”
One month later, Paris responded to critics again after they commented on her “old and haggard” appearance at the Christian Louboutin “Rouge Stiletto” Beauty Event.
While Paris went full glam for the event, she later posted a bare faced video in response to allegations that she looked aged.
“This is no filter, no makeup and regular lighting for the people that wrote really s—ty comments about how old and haggard I look in my last video,” she captioned an Instagram video of her bare face.
“I am literally 25. Just young and haggard, thank you very much.”
