Palm Beach is buzzing that Elon Musk — who has been a fixture at Mar-a-Lago since Donald Trump’s reelection — is eyeing a luxury penthouse that belonged to late beauty mogul Sydell Miller.
Miller — the self-made tycoon behind the beauty brands Ardell and Matrix Essentials — dropped $42.56 million on the penthouse, comprised of two apartments, in 2019.
The sale at the time broke the record for most expensive condo in the city.
Miller — who was an early member of Mar-a-Lago — passed away in March.
A source told Page Six weeks ago that area tongues have been wagging that Musk is interested in buying Miller’s former residence.
Local outlet Palmer Palm Beach reported on rumors that Sydell’s family is currently “mulling an offer from Elon Musk to sell the late beauty mogul’s majestic 19,000 [square-foot] penthouse.”
“If accepted, the deal would likely top [$100 million] and break every West Palm Beach real estate record,” the outlet claimed. “When first built, the luxury apartment was said to be ‘fit for a king.’”
The building — which offers white glove amenities like a spa — is a reported favorite among billionaires, Wall Street tycoons and real estate bigwigs.
Miller’s other Palm Beach home, La Reverie, sold for $111 million, and was compared to a “railroad station or state library.” The lavish estate even had an ice cream stand and a bowling alley.
The home was decorated by famed interior designer Peter Marino, and Miller was an avid art collector with works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro and Marc Chagall.
Her collection was recently put up for auction by Sotheby’s.
Musk has been spending time in the area since Trump’s reelection, and has been a constant presence at Mar-a-Lago. He was spotted spending Thanksgiving at the private club.
The SpaceX founder will lead a new Department of Government Efficiency with Vivek Ramaswamy.
He did not return a request for comment on the alleged apartment acquisition.
