Paige DeSorbo’s “Summer House” reunion look was inspired by two of Hollywood’s most stylish stars.
“Zendaya is my lord and savior. Like, I subscribe to her religion. So whenever I have to do an evening gown look, I always just think, ‘What would Zendaya wear?’” the fashion contributor, 31, tells Page Six Style while promoting her “Vacation You” summer campaign with Malibu.
Ultimately landing on a sleek white David Koma gown with short sleeves and a sheer panel that showcased her sculpted abs, the Bravolebrity also looked to a second star while sourcing the perfect ensemble to rehash Season 8 drama with her castmates and host Andy Cohen.
“I thought [the dress] was giving ‘Dune,’ but also if Anne Hathaway had interpreted what Zendaya [was] going to wear,” she says, noting that it’s a “very niche” fashion formula.
“That was my vibe: Anne Hathaway interpreting Zendaya, worn by Paige DeSorbo.”
Though it was unplanned, several of DeSorbo’s “Summer House” co-stars — including Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard and Gabby Prescod — also chose dresses that put their toned midsections on display.
“We collectively sat there and had a moment where we were like, ‘Are we the best-looking cast on Bravo?’ And Andy agreed with us,” DeSorbo recalls.
“So if you don’t agree, take it up with him.”
While “Real Housewives” often receive themes and color palettes to guide their reunion looks, the “Giggly Squad” podcast co-host reveals that the “Summer House” crew is never given such direction.

This year, however, the cast chatted amongst themselves and committed to an earthy, neutral vibe so as to avoid the clashing issue of reunions past.
“We had a color palette this year,” she says. “This year, we did a group chat and we said, ‘Sometimes we look ridiculous and we don’t match. And this year, let’s get it together.’”
The color code was ultimately settled by Kyle Cooke, who had decided on a sage suit when the conversation began.
“Of course, Kyle threw in, ‘Well, I already got my outfit, so go based on my coloring,’” she shares. “So that’s what we did! We went by what color Kyle’s suit was and then we figured it out from there.”
DeSorbo tells Page Six Style she is all about color-coordination these days — as evidenced by the Malibu Paige Breeze cocktail included in the New Resort Pass x Malibu daycation experience she created for her partnership with the beverage brand.
“I’m really pro-matching your outfit to your cocktail this summer, because it takes a lot of guesswork out of the Instagram picture. There’s your prop and there’s your accessory and this is going to great on your grid,” says the influencer, who boasts 1.2 million followers on the social media platform.
“So I’m literally just giving a tip and trick to the girlies,” she elaborates. “And I like a really light drink in the summer. I like it to have a little bit of seltzer, but also I like it to match my miniskirt. So my Malibu Paige Breeze is the perfect pinky summer orange.”
