Olivia Wilde wanted her viral custody papers moment to remain under the radar — but that was Mission: Impossible.

A couple months after the “Don’t Worry, Darling” director went viral for being served onstage during a 2022 CinemaCon presentation, she had a mortifying interaction with Tom Cruise, Wilde said on Wednesday’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast episode.

When she met the “Top Gun” star, 63, he said, “Hi, I’m Tom. F–ked up what happened to you in Vegas.”

Wilde recalled, “I was like, ‘No!’ I was like, ‘OK, so it went wide.’ Got it, got it.”

The actress, 42, had been hoping “no one saw it because there [were] no phones allowed in this event” — but then realized, “Oh, it’s already up on Page Six? There’s a video?”

At the time, she told herself, “No one’s gonna look because no one’s paying attention.”

The “O.C.” alum, who is now able to “laugh about” the “incredibly traumatizing” moment, said she was able to “muscle through the most insane” situation and finish her speech before “dissolving into a puddle” backstage.

As for whether she believes the headline-making moment was “purposeful” on her ex Jason Sudeikis’ part, she “need[s] to believe” it wasn’t — as he has claimed — “in order to continue” co-parenting with him.

The former couple, who were together between 2011 and 2020, share son Otis, 12, and daughter Daisy, 9.

Wilde noted that “lawyers can be f–ked up and do super f–ked up things,” but acknowledged, “I think people are never their best selves when they’re engaging in that kind of process.

“I know whether or not he knew it was going to happen, I know it hurt him to see it happen to me,” she continued. “I know he felt very, very bad that it happened to me.”

The “House” alum, who has “done a lot of therapy” about the “vulnerable” and “high stress” moment, is confident she can “make it through anything” after that.

Wilde addressed the scandal in a August 2022 Variety interview, the same month she slammed Sudeikis’ “outrageous” and “aggressive” tactics in court documents.

“It was not something that was entirely surprising to me,” she said of the “vicious” move. “I mean, there’s a reason I left that relationship.”

Elsewhere in Wednesday’s episode, Wilde broke down the exact moment she knew her romance with the “Ted Lasso” star, 50, was over and shared their coparenting ups and downs.

“These kids are consistently getting the best of us in a way that when we were together was not possible,” the “I Want Your Sex” star insisted. “We did not work together, but we work really well separated.”
