Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge have reportedly broken up after two years of dating.
The “Drivers License” singer and the British actor, both 22, split a few weeks ago, according to the Sun. Their friends are reportedly shocked over the breakup.
“It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now,” a source told the outlet.
Rodrigo reportedly broke down in tears while attending Lily Allen’s recent holiday party in London.
“Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it,” the source said. “Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”
Rodrigo’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. A rep for Partridge had no comment.
The two were first linked in October 2023 when they were spotted celebrating Halloween together in London.
According to a US Sun report at the time, they met through mutual pals and became “inseparable” after messaging one another.
Since then, they’ve publicly supported one another and haven’t been shy about showing PDA.
They made their red carpet debut together at the premiere of his film “Disclaimer” at the Venice Film Festival in August 2024.
In September, Partridge said he and Rodrigo were choosing to not be so public about their romance in an interview with Esquire UK.
He shared that they both understood what comes with dating as celebrities.
“I think [it helps], yeah, to not blow it out of proportion or not have to explain it or have someone understand it,” he said. “I just have no doubt that we’re both in a relationship for the right reason, for example. I’m sure that’s something you have to think about when you reach a certain level of success.”
The “Enola Holmes” star also said he was OK being “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo” in an interview with Variety due to her massive level of fame.
“I can handle that,” he said. “I’m very happy, and I think she is too, so all is good in our world.”
Prior to Partridge, Rodrigo was romantically linked to DJ and influencer Zack Bia as well as producer Adam Faze.
